45 years ago, our company’s roots took hold in the fertile soil of Karaman, a sun-drenched city nestled in the heart of the Mediterranean, Turkey. What do we mean by the term “social enterprise”? In the old Turkish language used during the Ottoman period, “Nef” means benefit, while “Kim” signifies humanity. When we founded Nefkim, our objective was to create a company that would not only serve its stakeholders but also contribute to the greater good of humanity.
To achieve this goal, we have committed to sharing up to 50% of our profits with our employees and also donating spare funds to organizations that work towards benefiting humanity.
